Who is behind all this

Like many good things, this started with a walk on a California beach. Wife and husband Marlene Bauer and Andy Strote were in L.A. for a holiday, to spend 3 days with Anthony Robbins in Long Beach and to see Patti Smith play on the Santa Monica Pier.

If you spend even a little time with Anthony Robbins, and you do a firewalk across 12 feet of glowing hot coals without burning yourself, you realize two things: you can do anything you want, and it’s your brain, not your feet that are on fire.

Let’s try peace person-to-person rather than nation-to-nation

We wondered how we could send out a peaceful message to the world, person-to-person, one-to-one. Something that everyone can be part of that didn’t cost a lot of money and was fun. Something that spreads easily and is easy to remember.

And we’d just read about the peace sign, and realized that all these years it had been a symbol for death. And so we decided to turn it around. One thing leads to another and here we are.
